Quality Technology Services Becomes South Florida Technology Alliance Platinum Sponsor[ PR Newswire · 2009-03-17 ]

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The South Florida Technology Alliance (SFTA) announced today that Quality Technology Services, one of the nation's largest privately held providers of data center facilities and managed services, has become a Platinum Sponsor for 2009. With more than 2 million square feet of data center space strategically located throughout the United States, QualityTech delivers industry leading power and cooling density as well as a dynamic network and world-class managed services.

"We are honored QualityTech has chosen to sponsor the alliance," said Chris Burgio, SFTA president. As a non-profit organization, SFTA relies entirely on corporate sponsorships and memberships to fulfill its mission to grow the awareness and success of the South Florida technology market. "With so many alternatives contending for resources today, QualityTech's sponsorship is a highly coveted endorsement of the SFTA's mission and direction," Burgio said.

"In April of 2008, QualityTech made the decision to enter the Miami marketplace and build a ground-up Category five hurricane-resistant data center facility. Once plans for the facility fell into place, we knew we needed to concentrate on getting our name out," Said Dan Kurtz, executive vice president of Marketing for QualityTech. "The decision to join forces with SFTA simply made sense. Like QualityTech, SFTA, with a finger on the pulse of the technology community, is at the heart of evolving the technological landscape and committed to introducing the South Florida community to innovative technology solutions."

A Big Thank You to the South Florida Technology Alliance!

At our December 4th Holiday Party, the board of the SFTA and its membership honored me with a gift certificate to a day spa.

I finally had the chance yesterday to take advantage of it with my daughter Mandy who is home from FSU for spring break. What a great experience and a such a wonderful place!

I would like to highly recommend Madison's Avenue By the Bay Spa located at:

18001 Old Cutler Road
Village of Palmetto Bay, Fl.
(305)234-8881
www.madisonsavenuebythebay.com

This is the most charming place and Belinda and Amanda Watson, who own and operate the spa, are wonderful.

Check out their website and I hope you will schedule a visit.

Thanks to the whole SFTA and its leadership for one of the best gifts of my holiday season!
