SFTA and Fast Trac

The SFTA (South FloridaTechnology Alliance) would like to remind seasoned and aspiring entrepreneursto sign up for the FastTrac(R) TechVenture(TM) Program to be held at the EDC(Entrepreneurial Development Center) located in the FAU Research Park, BocaRaton, FL.

This 10-week program is designed specifically to develop an elevator pitch, executive summary and a business plan.

Starting June 17, 2008 - the FastTrac(R) TechVenture(TM) Program will beoffered in Research Triangle Park (RTP) and independently in South Florida. This course has mentored and worked with over 850 entrepreneurs and companies-- raising over $1 billion in capital.

Over the past 11 years, the CED has offered the very successful FastTracTech Program, developed by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation of KansasCity, to entrepreneurs, specifically in the Tech sector. The course utilizesexpert guest speakers and panelists from the entrepreneurial, corporate,angel, venture capital, legal, and financial communities.

Often success can be accomplished bymeeting a mentor, being introduced to a potential partner, understanding cashflow management, and preparing the perfect pitch to raise capital.
