South Florida Technology Alliance to Hold Panel Discussion on

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – October 15, 2008 - The South Florida Technology Alliance (SFTA), an organization dedicated to strengthening South Florida's technology community, on Thursday October 23rd, will hold a panel discussion with leaders from South Florida’s major non-profit civic and governmental agencies on the state of the technology economy in South Florida. The SFTA event will be held at the Sheraton Suites Cypress Creek hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Eastern.
The panel will be moderated by Jane Teague, executive director of Enterprise Development Corporation (EDC) of South Florida, and panelists will include: Bob Swindell, The Broward Alliance; Andrew Duffell, The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County; Dr. Jaap Donath, Miami Beacon Council; Dr. Karl Stevens, Ph.D., P.E., Dean, College of Engineering & Computer Science, Florida Atlantic University; and Maryann Fiala, AeA
